Thank you to Randy for his nearly two decades of service on the Town & Country Supply Association board of directors!
Fellow Patrons,
I’ve been a Farmers Union Association patron since 1977. I was elected to the Farmers Union Association board in 2004, the first of my Co-op experience.
In 2009 we merged with Town & Country Supply. The manager, Wes Burley and the newly formed board were great to work with as I learned the Co-op way. Being a part of a bigger co-op we now had better buying opportunities and as a bigger co-op, division managers were needed to run efficiently. We were sent to classes to learn and attended meeting to keep informed. Wes and the Board have always looked to grow and improve the business with projects to numerous to mention. They have kept the business in a positive financial situation, so that when an opportunity was presented we were able to invest. Town & Country has purchased and remodeled several stores, the largest being the mega fertilizer plant in Lockwood. A lot of business is done from this site, storing chemicals, parking trucks, and conducting day to day business. It surely is a site to see and a place you should visit if you have not already!
Town & Country invests in its members through scholarship programs, participating in 4-H markets, and will continue to look for opportunities to invest in the future of our business (our children). Our store has great people, most of the products that a farm or ranch needs to operate, and if we don’t have it, we try our best to get it. I’m proud of our Co-op and will continue to be a patron.
