Fellow patrons:
As a third-generation farmer and rancher from the Bridger area, I raise malt barley, dry beans, sugar beets, alfalfa hay, corn silage, and grain corn. I also run a small feed lot and have a cow/calf operation. I purchase fuel, fertilizer, and feed from Town & Country Supply Association, and I stop by the Bridger Farm & Ranch/C-Store several times a week.
I became a patron during my senior year of high school in 1979 – when my dad gifted me $25 of T&C stock. He served on the board for 23 years, and when he passed away, I stepped in to finish out his term. Thirty years later – I continue to serve.
In my time, a major accomplishment includes the hiring of General Manager Wes Burley. We’ve focused our service on keeping T&C competitive in the market – and returning profits to our communities in the form of patronage checks, scholarships, sponsorships, and other service. We’re investing in our communities and the next generation – and we are having direct, local impact.
For example, I remember one thank you card I received from a patron years ago after he had received a patronage check. It meant a great deal to him – and it really did a lot for me to get that card from him. It’s a reminder that the work we do at T&C is changing lives.
